A photographer since 2019, I deeply love documenting love stories and family stories. In fact, it was while photographing the wedding of one of my best friends that I understood just how much my hypersensitivity allows me to feel beyond stiff poses. And what we call photogenic is more often a reflection of a person’s self-confidence than their physical beauty (even though feeling beautiful or handsome does help you feel confident). Not necessarily. These photos are yours, so we will do it the way you wish. Some people want to go all out; others prefer an outfit that better reflects their everyday life. You can even plan a “Wow” outfit and a casual one. In that case, the 1h30 package is more suitable. If you would like floral accessories, I recommend booking a maternity lei from our catalogue, as tradition has it that pregnant women wear only lei and not closed flower necklaces. Did you know that?
Ideally, you should do it between the 6th and 8th month of pregnancy. At that time, the belly is clearly visible and, generally, the expectant mother is still quite mobile. I strongly advise against waiting until the last month, because the belly becomes truly heavy and walking or standing often becomes uncomfortable, not to mention the risk of premature labour.

Let me reassure you right away: that is perfectly normal! And we will use that energy to create photos that capture the essence of their childhood: discovery, wonder, liveliness. We will probably take a few posed photos during the session, but the very essence of this time together is that we, as adults, do the work of adapting to the children and following their rhythm and exploration. Not the other way around.
We set the session time according to their waking hours. Depending on their age, whether your child is already walking or not, and their level of alertness, we choose a location suited to their exploration. During the session, there may be a breastfeeding moment. As parents, keep in mind that photos with very young children are easier for them—and for you—when you let go. Babies are not models, and I will never force them to do a posed photo, to look at me if they do not want to, or to stay in your arms if they want to go and play. On the contrary, candid photos capture moments of tenderness that you will cherish for a long time when they have grown up.
Yes, absolutely. It is, in fact, an option that is particularly well suited to families with a toddler. Please mention it when you get in touch.
Apart from family sessions with a toddler, I no longer offer mini-sessions, as they do not align with the way I work or with my values. Very short sessions aimed only at posed photos do not allow me to connect with you or to sincerely explore images that reflect you and convey part of your personality.

It truly depends on how you feel and on the reason or reasons for treating yourself to this session. If you want to mark a special occasion, then you can wear an outfit that is special for the occasion. If you mainly want to take time for yourself or build self-confidence, a dedicated outfit can help, but it is not mandatory.
