J’ai rencontré Coralie et Martin pour une séance photo lors de leur honeymoon à Tahiti, à la fin de leur séjour en Polynésie. Une étape d’un long voyage de quelques mois qu’ils se sont offert après leur mariage.
Coralie reached out on socials and I could immediately how soft she is. She and Martin, who are from northern France, wanted to capture nice pictures their trip to French Polynesia. She told me that they love the mountains just as much as (if not more than) the beaches, so they wanted a mountain background in their photos. That’s all it takes to make my heart, as a photographer and a mountain lover!
I met them twice. The first time, it was raining cats and dogs, so we ended up having a drink at the bar to make their trip from Tahiti’s peninsula worthwhile. That moment gave us a chance to get to know each other better. Beyond our love of the mountains, we discovered we had a lot in common regarding our career paths.
We met up again two days later. The second time was the charm. That morning, the clouds were high in the sky, and the sun made a few appearances, warming the black sand beneath the lovers’ feet. A dog walking along the beach must have felt their love for animals (they’re a foster family for pets) and struck a pose right from the start. The photo shoot was filled with natural chemistry and laughter between Coralie and Martin, who let themselves be completely guided,even ending up soaked in the water. It was the perfect way to wrap up their honeymoon in Tahiti before heading off to a new country.

We did a photo shoot with Vaikehu in Tahiti during our vacation in French Polynesia, and we’d do it a thousand times over! We had a great time together. She really put us at ease, and we laughed a lot! These photos are such a beautiful memento of our trip. Mauruuru, Vaikehu!
