Wedding photographer in Tahiti, Moorea, Tetiaroa, Bora Bora and French Polynesia

A photo story that captures a wedding that reflects who you are

Since 2019, I have been documenting weddings with the same intention: to feel the day as much as photograph it. That calling revealed itself while shooting a close friend’s wedding in the South of France; a moment that showed me how naturally my sensitivity translates behind a lens. I am drawn to details, to meaning, to the unspoken emotion that passes between people when they think no one is watching. If that is the kind of photography you are looking for, we are going to get along beautifully.

I am the right fit for you if you are looking for a wedding photographer...

RELIGIOUS BOHO WEDDING IN TAHITI PENINSULA - Studio Marama with love

Create lasting memories of the most beautiful day of your life

Your wedding is a rare gathering of all the people who have shaped your story, and one of the few moments in life when the spotlight is entirely yours. Embrace it, live it fully, and let the images speak for the rest.

Being your wedding photographer means becoming the quiet witness to a story years in the making — and delivering images that will hold, forever, the warmth of that day and the faces of everyone who made it extraordinary.

How does it work?

The process

Studio Marama with love

Our first meeting

Before anything else, I want to meet you. To hear your story, to understand what this day means to you and what you envision, and to make sure we are the right match, for that connection matters as much as the photos themselves.

Wedding FAQ

Can we meet you before booking our wedding photographer?

Always. Meeting you before we commit is essential to me. he connection between a couple and their photographer matters deeply, and if it is not there, it is better to acknowledge it early. You deserve a photographer who is fully aligned with who you are and what you envision, whether your wedding takes place in Tahiti or anywhere else in the world.

The moment you have your date, your budget, and a connection with my work. Booking early secures your date and guarantees current rates. It also gives us the opportunity to work on your day’s timeline together, so that your couple portraits are planned around the best light at your venue or elsewhere.

First of all, thank you for saying so. It takes courage to acknowledge it. More people say this than you might think. The truth is is not something you either are or are not. It is largely a reflection of how comfortable and confident you feel in the moment. And building that confidence is part of my job. Guiding people who are not used to being photographed is one of the parts of my work I am most passionate about. Through candid photography, I create images with no forced poses or no awkward directions. You may surprise yourself.

Yes, and happily so. English has always felt natural to me, even if a little rusty at times. I look forward to connecting with you in it.

I do not currently work with a regular videographer, which gives you the freedom to choose someone whose style you truly love. That said, I am happy to share recommendations if you need a starting point.

The best way to know is simply to meet. For couples based outside of French Polynesia, I always suggest a video call. This moment reveals far more than a portfolio ever could. From there, I share full wedding galleries so you can see the consistency of my work beyond the highlight images. By the time we have spoken and you have explored those galleries, you will know whether I am the right fit, and so will I.

I love working alongside wedding planners. Their expertise makes everything run smoothly for you, for your guests, and for me. For a destination wedding especially, having a wedding planner is something I genuinely recommend: navigating a new country, local vendors, and logistics from abroad is no small feat. I coordinate with them directly, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself, so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying every moment.”

I have a soft spot for intimate weddings . They are true, personal, and deeply connected to who you are as a couple. My level of focus and dedication remains the same regardless of guest count: every detail, every gesture, every emotion deserves to be captured with the same care. That consistency is reflected in my pricing, which remains the same regardless of guest count. That said, coverage duration can be tailored to match the rhythm and scale of your celebration.

We hired Studio Marama with love for our wedding and are thrilled with the result! Vaikehu made us feel at ease during the couple's photo session and was very discreet during the ceremony. We chose her for her ability to capture those little moments of connection—moments that are often forgotten or do not necessarily come through in overly “staged” photo sessions. With her discretion, attention to detail, and artistic eye, she perfectly photographed the essence of our union throughout every stage of our celebration.

She was able to adapt to our personalities and tastes without losing her personal photographic style. The photos are not “stiff” or “forced,” and they truly make us relive those joyful moments of celebration, while also bringing us back into the intimacy of our relationship.
The photos aren't “stiff” or “posed,” and they truly bring those joyful moments of celebration back to life, while also immersing us once again in the intimacy of our relationship.

We initially had a few minor issues receiving the gallery; however, Vaikehu handled them professionally. We are truly happy to have trusted her and chosen her to capture such an important event in our lives. We highly recommend her! Thank you again, Vaikehu, for your work and your kindness—we are more than satisfied!

The weddings I aspire to photograph

While I’m based in Tahiti as a wedding photographer, I also keep a list of wedding stories I’m especially drawn to. If yours resonates with any of these, let me know when you reach out. I may have a special surprise for you.

If your wedding is designed with sustainability in mind and you’re reducing its carbon impact as much as possible, thank you for caring for our islands and those who will come after us.

Tell me about your plans, and I might have something special in return.
