Studio Mārama with love services are designed for those who want photos full of love and meaning, through wedding photography reportages and personal events, as well as couple, family, and pregnancy photo sessions. Alongside these services, I offer photography classes for amateur photographers.
First, you fill out the contact form and indicate the type of service desired (please remember to mention the date in the case of a wedding or event). You will then receive a response with information and availability. To confirm, we sign a quote and a contract, and you pay a 30% deposit.
First of all, thank you for sharing this with me. If you only knew how many times I hear this, and yet… Let me tell you three things. First, “photogenicity” is a concept, not a reality. What we call photogenic is more often a reflection of a person’s self-confidence than their physical beauty (even if feeling beautiful helps with confidence). Secondly, part of my job as a photographer is to guide and support you. I will not compare you to anyone else, and I hope you can be just as kind to yourself. Finally, my guiding style is specifically adapted for people who are daring to step in front of the lens for the first time despite their hesitations. In English, we call this “candid photography”—a way of guiding and photographing that results in spontaneous, natural, and true shots.
A wedding is a milestone event in life, and it is essential for me to document the different stages of the day. This is why, unfortunately, it is not possible to book only couple photos with me during a wedding, as it does not align with my approach to wedding photography. However, among the Studio Mārama with love services, the Ceremony package provides photos of the ceremony, group photos, and couple photos. It is suitable for couples getting married on a weekday in an intimate setting.
Photography classes are intended for beginners and amateurs. Even if you have never held a camera in your hands, I am willing to bet you have already used your phone’s camera. Many concepts are applicable even with a phone, so you can sign up for the photography classes and use it. If you have a camera that you have never used, you will learn to handle it with ease.
