As their first trip to Tahiti approached, Cade contacted us to photograph his proposal on a beach at sunset. He wanted it to be a surprise for his sweetheart, Talia, with beautiful photos. This kind of photo session is touching for me, because these photos will serve as a precious memento of that moment, one that feels timeless and yet is so fleeting.
After a few messages to coordinate the location and the plan, all that’s left is to head to the meeting spot and wait for the couple, then discreetly follow them until the key moment.
On that day, everything came perfectly together for this dream proposal: a white-sand beach, a warm sunset over Moorea under a cloudless sky, a nearly deserted beach, and a gentle, refreshing breeze.
Finally, the moment came when Cade bent the knee in front of Talia, her eyes filled with tears of joy and love.
My vision blurred with emotion, but as I’m used to this, I naturally did what I’d come to do: take photos of Talia and Cade’s engagement they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
After spending 15 minutes with them, I got all I needed and I left them to enjoy the rest of the sunset in private.

N.B. : The photo shoot lasted a total of 15 minutes, starting with the very moment Cade bent his knee. This gave us enough time to let the newly engaged couple enjoy the sunset in complete privacy afterward on his request. The gallery contained 95 photos.
