Wedding photographer in Tahiti, Moorea and French Polynesia

A photo story that tells your wedding in your own image

A photographer since 2019, I deeply love documenting weddings. In fact, it was while photographing the wedding of one of my best friends in the South-West of France that I understood how much it suited me, because I am highly sensitive. As a result, I pay particular attention to details, to the meaning behind every thing, and to the emotion conveyed. That is what I strive to share through my images. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who will be able to bear witness to the emotions shared between you and your guests, as well as all the details you envision like a Pinterest board, then you are in the right place.

I am the right fit for you if you are looking for a wedding photographer...

Creating the memories of the most beautiful day of your life

Celebrating your wedding is an opportunity to bring together all the people who matter most to you. It is also a chance, at least once in your life, to be the center of attention—so make the most of it and keep the most beautiful memories.

Being your wedding photographer in Tahiti or elsewhere means becoming the discreet witness to this project you have been preparing for months, even years, and delivering images that will preserve the memory of this meaningful day, surrounded by the people you love.

Wedding FAQ

Can we meet you before choosing our wedding photographer?

Yes—and in my opinion it is essential. I always meet couples before we mutually decide to confirm the service together. Sometimes the connection is not there, and in that case it is better to choose someone with whom it is, because you deserve a wedding photographer—whether in Tahiti or elsewhere—who is 100% aligned with you.

As soon as you have your date, your photo budget, and if you like my style. This maximizes your chances that I will still be available on your date, allows you to book at current rates, and to spread payments over time if needed. If your day’s schedule is not yet defined, it also allows me to advise you on this point depending on the light at the location(s) for group photos and couple photos.

First of all, thank you for sharing this. If you knew how many times I hear that—and yet… Let me tell you three things. To begin with, “photogenic” is a concept, not a reality. What people call photogenic is more often a reflection of someone’s self-confidence than their physical beauty (even though feeling beautiful or handsome does help with confidence). Next, part of my work as a photographer is to guide you and support you. I will not compare you to anyone, and I hope you will be able to be just as kind to yourself. Finally, the way I guide is specifically adapted for people who, for the first time, dare to step in front of the camera despite their hesitations. In English, this is called “candid photography”: a way of guiding and photographing that offers spontaneous, natural shots. Real.

Yes! I used to be fluent in English, and I still enjoy chatting in English even if sometimes it feels a bit rusty. I can’t wait to know where your guests come from!

At the moment, I do not have a regular video partner, which leaves you free to book the videographer you love.

Generally, the couples I meet are getting married for the first time. In that case, and given the scale of the project, it is rare—if not impossible—to think of all the subtleties of the planning and of each item and each vendor.
On my side, on the contrary, I have covered dozens of weddings, and I regularly produce photo stories in other settings. I therefore have experience that I put to use to help couples prepare the day so that it reflects who they are, runs smoothly for everyone, and makes the most of the light throughout the event.
Support is therefore always useful, and is included with every couple I work with.

It is an excellent decision to entrust the organization of your wedding to a professional, because my support as a photographer does not replace that profession.
With me, you benefit from the digital guide sent to all couples who choose me, complemented by support that consists of both regular exchanges with your wedding planner and with you, to follow up and to provide my own recommendations as a photographer. This support remains essential because it is not only about organizing the day with attention to everything that will shape and impact the photos, but also about preparing you to be the center of attention while making the most of every moment. I also prepare you for my presence by your side, and therefore help you think about what would allow me to capture as many meaningful elements for you as possible. The more we anticipate and prepare you, the more at ease you will be on the day.
That is why support is included and inseparable from every package offered.

I love intimate weddings because they are generally exactly in the couple’s image! During these weddings, I am just as focused and committed to my mission of capturing the smallest details, gestures, and emotions that make your wedding memorable. The care I bring to every moment and every image is consistent regardless of the number of guests, and that is why the investment is the same for small or large weddings.

RELIGIOUS BOHO WEDDING IN TAHITI PENINSULA

We chose Studio Marama with love for our wedding and are delighted with the result! Vaikehu made us feel at ease during the couple photos and was very discreet during the ceremony. We chose her for her ability to capture those small moments of connection—moments that are often forgotten or do not necessarily come through in overly “posed” photo sessions. With her discretion, attention to detail, and artistic eye, she perfectly photographed the essence of our union throughout every stage of our celebration. She was able to adapt to our personalities and tastes without losing her personal photographic style. The photos are not “frozen” or “forced,” and they truly make us relive those joyful moments of celebration, while also bringing us back into the intimacy of our relationship. We initially had a few issues receiving the gallery; however, Vaikehu resolved them professionally. We are truly happy to have trusted her and to have chosen her to capture such an important event in our lives. We highly recommend her! Thank you again, Vaikehu, for your work and your kindness—we are more than satisfied!

A serious and very talented photographer. Very satisfied with our wedding photos (2023), to the point that we chose to come back to her this year (2025) for family photos. Wonderful memories for life. Thank you 🤩
